Meet the Coaches

We're two college soccer players who started Baller2Baller to give young athletes the kind of training we wish we had growing up. Real players, real coaching, real results.

Owen - Coach & Co-Founder

Owen Filler

Co-Founder & Coach

Owen is the starting left fullback at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and brings years of high-level playing and coaching experience to every session. A former captain of the Belmont High School varsity team and a four-year captain of his Boston Bolts ECNL/NAL squad, Owen knows what it takes to lead and compete at the highest levels. His resume speaks for itself: 2024 NAL National Champion, 2024 Eastern Mass All-Star, and Middlesex Starting XI selection. Owen's goal with B2B is to pass on everything he's learned to the next generation of players.

Andrew - Coach & Co-Founder

Andrew Schreiner

Co-Founder & Coach

Andrew is the starting right fullback at Dickinson College, where he helped lead the team to the NCAA Elite 8 in 2025. A captain of the Belmont High School varsity team in 2024 and captain of his NE Surf ECRL/ECNL squad, Andrew has competed and led at every level. He was named a Greater Boston All-Star Honorable Mention in 2023 and brings a winning mentality and defensive expertise to every B2B session. Andrew's mission is to help young players develop the tools and confidence to reach their full potential.

Our Story

Baller2Baller started with a simple idea: give young players access to training from people who actually play the game at a competitive level.

As college soccer players, we've been through every level -- rec leagues, travel teams, high school varsity, club showcases, and the college recruiting process. We know what coaches look for, what it takes to stand out, and how to build the skills that actually matter on the field. B2B was built to share that experience with the next generation.

What We Believe

Our coaching philosophy in a nutshell.

🏆

Reps Build Players

There's no shortcut. Consistent, focused repetitions in training are what separate good players from great ones.

🧠

Play Smarter

Technique is important, but understanding the game -- when to play fast, when to slow down -- is what makes the difference.

🔥

Have Fun

At the end of the day, soccer is a game. We keep training competitive, engaging, and something players actually look forward to.
